November
There are basically two kinds of people in this world: those who are always surprised that life has been so good to them, and those who are bitter and resentful because they feel life has held back so much from them. Surprisingly, the first group is not necessarily those who have the most. Many things we wish to have may not be good for us. So it’s a good idea to count the blessings we have received which are. This life is always a mixture. It is never only one color. Life is like a patchwork quilt. All those different colors, and there are many, are together in perfect harmony. Life can be like that for all of us if we can learn to accept what is given us and make the best of it. Life also has rewards and it has blots also. There are things we can have and things we can’t. Pleasures we can enjoy and it has pleasures we cannot enjoy. Life has things we can get and it has things we cannot get.
For all who follow Christ, all of life can still be a harmony.
God works together for good to them that love Him Romans 8:28
This month, in which we celebrate Thanksgiving; let’s listen to the harmony in our lives and thank the Lord he is working out everything to our best.
In Christ Jesus,
Pastor David
