We are about to enter into the valley the church calls Lent. After the joy of Christmas and the brightness of the Epiphany seasons; things now begin to grow dark.The Light of the World, our Lord Jesus Christ now goes deep into the valley of darkness. This valley He follows to the end and into the very valley of Death. Such sorrow He endures so that we can echo the words of the Psalmist: Yeah, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For Thou art with me, Thy rod and Thy staff shall comfort me. The Lord became so uncomfortable, so that we could be comforted.

As we enter this Lenten time with Jesus; we will be offering six unique worship opportunities beginning with Ash Wednesday, February 9. We will be examining Valleys. Here are the valleys we will enter during the weeks in Lent. All worship begins @ 7p.m.. Suppers @ 6 p.m.
