Three-Year old Program:

This is a year of many first experiences for your child. Perhaps it is the first time your child has left your watchful care for more than a very short peirod of time. Maybe it is the first time he has not been with just family members. Maybe this is the first time she has been in the company of more than one or two other children at a time. One things for sure, this is the first real preschool experience for your child and every other child in the 3 Year Preschool Program.

Our primary curriculum resource used daily in our classroom is entitled My Friends and Me; developed by the American Guidance Services, Inc. This program was selected because it involves the children in the process of socialization. It assists them in developing confidence and a positive self identity within a group context.

Stories, activities and songs related to the experiences of two special friends names Candoo and Willdoo with who the children strongly empathize with as fellow preschoolers. Sharing, cooperating, taking turns, and listening skills are emphasized throughout to encourage continued progress in these areas.

It is our goal to afford your child a happy and meaningful first school experience. We believe learning can be FUN!
